Sam Curry, Global Vice President at Zscaler, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in cybersecurity.
With over a decade of experience, Mr. Curry has thrived as the global vice president and chief information security officer-in-residence at Zscaler since 2024. He has also flourished as an advisor for Nandi Security, Inc. and as a Form Fitness LLC business owner since 2022. Previously, he was the vice president and chief information security officer for Zscaler from 2023 to 2024. He was also with Cybereason from 2016 to 2023, where he held various positions, including president, chief security officer, and chief product officer. Mr. Curry became upset when hackers were targeting individuals with disabilities and children. This led him to develop a product to aid these individuals. This gave him a new purpose and mission, and that is when he knew cyber security was his calling.
Before entering his profession, Mr. Curry earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Mount Allison University. He then received a Bachelor of Arts in English, summa cum laude, from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 1996. Continuing his education, he earned a Master of Science in Counterterrorism with honors from Nichols College in 2021. As a testament to his success, Mr. Curry received a Bison Leadership Award and an Academic Excellence Award in 2022 from Nichols College, was named Hidden Champion by Cyberjutsu in 2020, a Visionary Award from SC Magazine in 2019, and a Pillar of CERIAS from Purdue in 2015. Looking toward the future, Mr. Curry aspires to participate in public service while continuing to combat malefactors.
