With a decade of experience, Mr. Taveras has thrived as the Head of Global Alliances at Dell Inc. since 2023. He has also been the Global Partnership Director for networking, security, telecom partnerships, and extended technologies with Dell Inc. since 2020. Previously, he was with CommScope as a WW Business Development Director from 2019 to 2020 and WW Head of Large Public Venues from 2018 to 2020. Mr. Taveras’s ability to adapt, learn, and expand his skills has led to his success. His dedication to caring for his retired mother and his children keeps him striving to prosper.
Before entering his career, Mr. Taveras earned an Associate in Occupational Studies in Networking and Computer Technologies from Briarcliffe College in 2003. Upon completing his degree, he earned a Shipley Certification in 2023, an A+ Certification from CompTIA, a CompTIA Network+ Certification, and a Cisco Certification. He is also an Alcatel Network Routing Specialist. As a testament to his success, Mr. Taveras was named Employee of the Year and Engineer of the Year by Dell Inc. During his downtime, he enjoys riding motorcycles, fishing, hiking, and traveling with his children.
Looking towards the future, Mr. Taveras would like to establish a consultancy firm in the security sector. He wants to help Dell Inc. better understand their purchases and provide expert guidance to ensure they acquire the correct products. He recently launched XYS, a non-profit organization that empowers children’s education in artificial intelligence, finance, investment, and stock trading. He aims to make a positive impact by prioritizing results that benefit the industry and community.
