With more than 20 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Namuth has excelled as the director of advisory services and chief information security officer for Beazley Security since 2024. In this position, he helps his clients with the maturation of their security programs, offers services that reduce risk and increase efficiency for their organization, leads their internal security department, and attends conferences while representing his company. Furthermore, he has been active on the adjunct faculty for California State University, Northridge since 2023. Prior to these roles, Mr. Namuth found success as a business information security officer with ReedGroup from 2017 to 2018, the chief information security officer with ReedGroup and Guardian Life from 2018 to 2019, the security program manager with Tenable from 2019 to 2021, an advisor for Blue Lava, Inc. from 2018 to 2023, and the chief information security officer with Realtime Electronic Payments from 2021 to 2023.
Mr. Namuth began his career as an information security analyst for Gambro Healthcare from 2004 to 2005 before accepting a post as a cyber intelligence analyst with Lockheed Martin Information Technology from 2005 to 2010. He subsequently served as a program manager with SBAlliance between 2010 and 2012, a senior manager with Stream Global Services between 2012 and 2013, an information security engineering consultant for Wells Fargo with Apex Systems in 2013, an information security engineer with Wells Fargo between 2013 and 2015, and a team lead with Wells Fargo between 2014 and 2015. Appointed as the director of security compliance with Sports Authority in 2016, he was later recruited as the director of standards, risk, compliance and security with Red Robin from 2016 to 2017. Among his many achievements, Mr. Namuth is proud to have been selected as a six-time speaker at the Riverst-Shamir-Adleman (RSA) Cybersecurity Conference around the globe.
To support his professional ambitions, Mr. Namuth earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology in Nebraska Wesleyan University, a Master of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis, and a Master of Science in finance at Colorado State University Global. He attributes his success to the support he has received from others, especially his wife. Drawn to his field after seizing an opportunity following his graduation from Washington University, he is grateful for the opportunity to mentor the next generation of cybersecurity professionals. Looking toward the future, Mr. Namuth hopes to continue exhibiting his leadership in his field while pondering his eventual retirement and witnessing the burgeoning career of his daughter.
