Ronald A. Schneider, Executive Director at V2X, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in Operations and Logistics.
Mr. Schneider is an esteemed professional and the executive director of operations, information technology and cyber solutions at V2X Inc., a global defense and space manufacturing organization based in McLean, Virginia, since 2023. In his role, he manages the operations and execution of approximately 40 different programs. His leading position also encompasses overseeing program managers and their teams and maintaining customer satisfaction. Notably, the programs Mr. Schneider manages, which are mainly U.S. Department of Defense contracts, are primarily based abroad in the Middle East, Europe, Hawaii and Asia and require extensive travel to oversee these global operations.
Having garnered extensive success in this sector, Mr. Schneider has simultaneously served as the executive director of operations for advanced networks and cyber at Vectrus since 2022. Affiliated with the organization since 2013, he rose from an FSET Indian Ocean AOR lead to a program manager for the fleet systems engineering team from 2015 to 2022 and an executive director of operations of information technology mission support in 2022. Among other roles, Mr. Schneider excelled in the classroom as an adjunct assistant professor at the University of Maryland University College in 2015 and as an adjunct instructor at Central Texas College between 2014 and 2015. He also taught at institutions in Japan and Bahrain.
Apart from his work in this sector, Mr. Schneider and his brother launched a business in 2020 after testing the market at local farmer’s markets, and they were widely received. The business, which focuses on beef, turkey and barbecue rubs, was initially managed by Mr. Schneider’s wife for about a year and has since relocated to another town. The two recently purchased a new property and plan to expand operations.
Highly educated, Mr. Schneider received an associate degree in supervisory leadership from the College of New York in 2000, a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts from Hawaii Pacific University in 2005 and a Master of Business Administration in information technology management from Touro University in 2008. Additionally, he holds credentials as a certified information security manager and with a Security+ certification.
Mr. Schneider honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy for over 20 years, beginning as an enlisted sailor and retiring at the rank of chief petty officer. Soon after, he became a commissioned officer, a distinction few achieved during service. Mr. Schneider’s career in the U.S. Navy included working on multiple ships, including during the Iraqi Freedom and Gulf wars. His dedication was recognized by being decorated with several Commendation and Joint Commendations Medals.
As a dedicated member of his community, Mr. Schneider has volunteered for various causes and was affiliated with the Boy Scouts of America for many years, earning the rank of Eagle Scout. He is also affiliated with the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Organization.
As Mr. Schneider prepares for the future, Mr. Schneider plans to advance by becoming a vice president of operations, culminating his aspirations within the industry. He also envisions opening another type of business specializing in farmer’s market boutique goods.
