Ms. Estevez-Losada is distinguished for her contributions to the field of real estate as the director of asset management at Equity LifeStyle Properties (ELS) Inc. Based in Chicago, ELS owns and operates manufactured home communities, recreation vehicle Resorts and campgrounds in North America. Leveraging over 15 years as an expert in the real estate sector as a project manager, Ms. Estevez-Losada is responsible for managing a portfolio of approximately 65 properties.
Besides her work at ELS Inc., Ms. Estevez-Losada has excelled as a results coach at Julia Estevez KKC. Through this premier coaching business, she helps clients gain clarity surrounding their goals, overcome obstacles and achieve success. Working closely with them so they can develop the necessary skills and strategies to propel forward and reach their desired outcomes, Ms. Estevez-Losada works with individuals from across a wide variety of industries.
Drawing on her former success, Ms. Estevez-Losada began her career as a coordinator of national housing construction at the Misión Hábitat Foundation from 2006 to 2007. She was then acquired by the Institute of State Railways as a construction manager before pivoting into the role of Agarua state director at the National Housing Institute between 2008 and 2009. Ms. Estevez-Losada also served as the president of the Municipal Housing Institute of the Municipality of Girardot from 2008 to 2012 and Fundas between 2009 and 2012, and was the director at Tecnitel from 2011 to 2018. Over the next few years, Ms. Estevez-Losada also garnered success at KMI International, beginning as an estimating associate and then as a project engineer, project manager, senior construction consultant and director of program management until 2019.
Highly educated, Ms. Estevez-Losada received a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the Andrés Bello Catholic University in 2006, a master’s degree in communications from Rey Juan Carlos University in 2017 and a master’s degree in community management from Cerem GBS in 2017. She also holds a diploma in management from the Japanese International Cooperation Agency.
Adding to her expertise, Ms. Estevez-Losada holds numerous professional designations, making her highly qualified. Among them, she is a certified project management professional through the Project Management Institute, completed the Occupational Safety and Health Administration 30-hour construction industry outreach training through 360training, and holds credentials as a project manager in core tools through Procore Technologies Inc.
Ms. Estevez-Losada is actively engaged in professional organizations, which help her remain at the forefront of her industry. She is a board member of CMAA, a representative of the National Association of Construction in Venezuela and a member of the National Association of Women in Construction. She is also a past president of the National Association of Civil Engineering Students and the Latin American Association of Civil Engineering Students.
Besides her work-related endeavors, Ms. Estevez-Losada has been a member of the volunteer staff of Habitat for Humanity of Orange County since 2018 and Habitat for Humanity of Greater Orlando and Osceola County since 2019. She has also volunteered for the Center for Independent Living in Central Florida since 2019.
Ms. Estevez-Losada’s success has been recognized with an Excellence Award by Cerem GBS and a nomination for the Remarkable Woman in Construction award by the National Association of Women in Construction. Eager for future success, she is determined to become a resource coach, where she can support individuals seeking to enter her field or relocate to the U.S. for work. Additionally, Ms. Estevez-Losada is working toward receiving an international coaching certification to broaden her coaching horizons and a general contractor license to assist her husband with his business.
