He also served as a product manager II for artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) with Microsoft Research/Teams between 2020 and 2022.
In addition to his role at Microsoft, Mr. Madan has been a featured speaker at Product School, a global leader in product management training based in San Francisco. His role inspires future product managers as they establish innovative products and apply best practices. Mr. Madan has also served as a guest speaker at Product Management Exercises, a professional training and coaching company in San Francisco. Additionally, he participates as an invited speaker before various project management conferences and sessions for different organizations and educational institutions.
Besides his contributions to Microsoft, Mr. Madan worked for several other organizations, including Fleet Complete as a data scientist, the Government of Ontario, where he gained significant expertise as a technical product manager, the internet company Tucows as an associate product manager, and Ting TV as an associate product manager. Earlier, he completed several internships with Microsoft, Bell, and Johnson & Johnson, focusing on marketing.
A graduate of the University of Toronto, Mr. Madan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration since 2016. He also garnered a Master of Management in AI from Queen’s University in 2020. Moreover, he received several professional credentials, including a management of enterprise data analytics certificate from the University of Toronto, a project management professional designation from the Project Management Institute, and a credential in mastering design thinking from MIT Sloan Executive Education. To further enhance his career, Mr. Madan is pursuing a Master of Science in computer science from the University of Washington.
As part of his continued success, Mr. Madan is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery. He also engages in community initiatives as a volunteer mentor with Mentor Dial and formerly as an afterschool mentor for children from low-income neighborhoods in Canada.
Mr. Madan’s expertise in AI and ML, language-based models, and building intelligent and data-driven digital products that use the latest in ML and AI have been pivotal to his success and tenure in the industry. He also attributes his accomplishments to his curiosity and a desire to challenge the status quo.
As he prepares for the future, Mr. Madan intends to continue excelling by earning a high-level leadership position where he can lead and develop a team of accomplished product professionals.
