She has also guided the next generation of nurses as an instructor at Central Maine Community College from 2010 to 2012 and worked in critical care during her tenure at Central Maine Medical Center from 1997 to 2010.
Additionally, Ms. Morin is actively engaged in health care advocacy and professional development as a member of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses and contributes to The Journal of Ambulatory Care Nursing. She also supports the Tour de Cure, Diabetes Foundation, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Dempsey Foundation, and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, and volunteers at local events, including Freeport 5k races and craft fairs. Laying an educational foundation, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Southern Maine in 1999 and a Master of Science in Nursing with honors from the University of Phoenix in 2007. She is also a certified case manager, registered nurse, and licensed EMT. Looking to the future, she aspires to pursue a Ph.D. to advance medical research and education, particularly in addressing Lyme disease, a condition she has personally encountered.
