As a vice president at PNC Financial Group in Charlotte, North Carolina, she provides strategic input on developing and managing risk-based audit plans. She also oversees information technology infrastructure audits and ensures compliance with the Institute of Internal Auditors standards. Before joining PNC Financial Group, Ms. Wrancher was a senior lead audit manager at Wells Fargo from 2020 to 2024. In this capacity, she honed her skills in managing audit teams as they resolved complex and unique challenges and established significant relationships with senior leaders. She also served as an AIC to complete audit engagements to assess compliance regarding policies and procedures and served as the business resiliency officer tasked with resiliency, disaster recovery and continuity operations for 1,700 internal auditors across a dozen countries.
Ms. Wrancher’s career began with distinguished service in the U.S. Army, where she held various leadership roles from 2007 to 2020. Her tenure as the chief compliance officer in Kuwait and Iraq between 2015 and 2016 showcased her commitment to maintaining high standards of integrity and accountability. As the director of operations at the Pentagon from 2018 to 2020, she was instrumental in managing assistance divisions and preliminary investigations. Additionally, Ms. Wrancher had the opportunity to work as a regional operations executive for the Defense Logistics Agency in Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan between 2009 and 2011.
Becoming highly educated in preparation for her career, Ms. Wrancher received a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Methodist University in 1995. She also received a Master of Arts in human resources management from the University of Oklahoma in 2002 and a Master of Science in military and strategic leadership from Marine Corps University in 2005. These educational achievements have been pivotal in shaping Ms. Wrancher’s strategic approach to leadership and management.
In addition to her formal education, Ms. Wrancher has held a green belt certification in Lean Six Sigma management from the Lean Six Sigma Institute since 2020. This certification underscores her proficiency in process improvement and operational efficiency.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Ms. Wrancher is actively involved in civic organizations. She has served as the vice chair of public policy and advocacy for the Junior League of Charlotte since 2022, aiming to establish a state public advocacy committee focused on education advocacy across North Carolina. Her previous roles include vice president of communications for The ROCKS Inc. and chairperson of the ASCEND program and the Emerging Young Leaders Program for Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated.
