Mr. Blake, a distinguished leader in the construction sector, has enjoyed a career marked by a series of progressive roles that have honed his expertise and ability to continually progress. Since 2025, he has served as the chief operating officer at Premier Services Group, where he has been instrumental in driving growth and operational excellence.
Based in Portland, Oregon, Premier Services Group was founded two decades ago and has since expanded to employ over 170 skilled professionals across nine states. The company specializes in flooring installations, including carpet, vinyl plank, laminate, hardwood and tile, as well as window and door installations.
Affiliated with Premier Service Group since 2020, Mr. Blake began as a regional operations manager before being promoted to vice president of flooring operations between 2022 and 2025. He joined his organization after successfully becoming a customer care manager at Western States Flooring Inc. from 2018 to 2020.
Earlier, Mr. Blake demonstrated his entrepreneurial spirit as the president and chief executive officer of IQ Interior and Design LLC from 2017 to 2020. He also excelled as an operations manager at Intermountain Wood Products between 2011 and 2017 and at Wonder Bread from 2009 to 2011.
At Intermountain Wood Products, Mr. Blake rose through the ranks, beginning in a warehouse position, where he quickly advanced through seven promotions over six years. This experience laid the foundation for his passion for the industry and ultimately led him to establish his own business before joining Premier Services Group. Mr. Blake’s expertise in installation for Lowe’s across residential and commercial projects in the northwest U.S. was also instrumental in his success, showcasing his ability to deliver exceptional results in this sector.
Mr. Blake’s educational background has been pivotal in his professional success. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in management from Stevens-Henager College in 2011 and a Master of Business Administration from Western Governors University in 2022. Further enhancing his skills, he received a designation in body language for leaders from LinkedIn in 2017. He also completed coursework in artificial intelligence (AI) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2024 and 2025, followed by completing a course in compliance in management and leading the AI in digital transformation in 2025, and chief operating officer program credentials from Emeritus in 2025.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Blake is actively involved in civic activities. He volunteers with Sleep in Heavenly Peace and participates in Lowe’s Hometown Hero Projects. Additionally, he contributes his time to assisting Asian refugee locations. These commitments reflect Mr. Blake’s dedication to giving back to the community.
A dedicated family man, Mr. Blake attributes much of his success to the support and inspiration provided by his wife Kathleen and their two children. His family remains a cornerstone of his motivation, driving him to excel professionally while maintaining a balanced personal life.
Looking ahead, Mr. Blake envisions expanding Premier Services Group into new states and categories while establishing it as a leader in customer service within the industry. He also plans to open additional businesses and join more organizations, including business boards. Furthermore, Mr. Blake is working on an inspirational book to share his knowledge with other business owners.
