Prior to her present position, Ms. Williams worked as a recruiting manager at GovCIO from 2018 to 2022. Between 2017 and 2018, she further honed her skills in the strategic recruitment process at DRT Strategies as a recruiting manager. She previously contributed to the recruiting department at ByteCubed in 2016 as well as a senior intel technical recruiter at Federal Data Systems from 2016 to 2017. Moreover, Ms. Williams was active as an independent recruiting consultant in 2012 before being recruited as the vice president of operations for the capital region at Constellation West from 2012 to 2016.
Ms. Williams began her career as an human resources generalist in recruiting at Sentel Corporation from 1994 to 1999. Appointed as a senior technical recruiter at General Dynamics AIS between 1999 and 2005, she later honed her skills in her field with Avaya Government Solutions as the director of recruiting from 2005 to 2010 and the recruiting lead for sales and corporate from 2010 to 2012. During this time, Ms. Williams briefly provided her services as the manager of recruiting for the cyber business unit at ManTech Mission Cyber & Technology Solutions in 2010.
Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Williams pursued a formal education at James Madison University, from which she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in psychology in 1994. This undergraduate degree laid the groundwork for her understanding of human behavior and effective communication—skills that have been instrumental throughout her stellar career. Additionally, Ms. Williams has obtained multiple certifications pertaining to her field, including the completion of the Train the Trainer Certification for the HRSmart Applicant Tracking System in 2007 and the Train the Trainer Certification for the BrassRing Applicant Tracking System in 2005, which have enhanced her technical proficiency in recruitment technologies.
To remain engaged with the latest developments in her industry, Ms. Williams remains a member of the National Association of Professional Women. Proud of her relationships with both current colleagues and past mentors, her membership with the aforementioned organization reflects her commitment to professional development and networking within her field. As a testament to her exceptional accomplishments, Ms. Williams has been celebrated with multiple accolades, including the Veridian Leadership Award in 2002 and recognition among Who’s Who Among American High School Students.
Born in Washington, D.C., Ms. Williams has attributed much of her success to the strong foundation provided by her parents, who supported her unconditionally while emphasizing the importance of being her true self, and the encouragement of previous managers who have influenced her journey.
