Mr. Williams has carved out a remarkable career path in the business world, culminating in his role as the director of the intralogistics group at Monoflo International for North America since 2015. As such, he manages a team of salespeople dedicated to expanding the company’s presence in the interlogistics sector. Mr. Williams’s leadership has been instrumental in driving growth and innovation within the organization. His expertise in new product design and development of reusable containers, pallets and bulk containers has been critical to his ongoing success.
Employed by Monoflo International for over 15 years, Mr. Williams was the director of automated systems for material handling from 2013 to 2015. During this period, he played a pivotal role in overseeing the food products container division and served as a liaison for all Monoflo product sales groups. Between 2012 and 2014, Mr. Williams served as the director of business development, where he played a pivotal role in identifying new market opportunities, helped launch new products and fostered strategic partnerships.
Having begun his career at Monoflo International in 2008, Mr. Williams was a business unit manager for food containers and pallets. He then garnered expertise as a business unit manager for the western region from 2011 to 2012. Before joining Monoflo International, Mr. Williams was the director of new business development for meat and proteins at Tosca Ltd., a global leader in reusable plastic packaging and performance pooling solutions based in Atlanta, Georgia. Between 2007 and 2008, his role involved utilizing reusable plastic containers and bulk boxes for the meat and protein industries.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Williams served as the national sales manager at Norseman Plastics Ltd. in Toronto, Canada, between 1997 and 2007, where he developed the customer service department and contributed to substantial sales growth. He was also credited with securing numerous regional and national accounts with organizations like Wal-Mart Stores, PepsiCo, Coca-Cola Enterprises, Tyson Foods and George Weston Bakeries.
Mr. Williams’s professional journey began as the chief executive officer of Sooner Fabricating & Sales Co., Inc., a position he held from 1977 to 1995. The manufacturer specialized in material handling and distribution systems for the Food processing sector. Mr. William’s role encompassed all operations of the business, resulting in the company’s exponential growth.
Among Mr. Williams’s notable achievements, he was instrumental in RFID tag-embedded products. In addition to his professional achievements, he is actively involved in industry-related organizations, including the logistics committee of the American Bakers Association and the Reusable Packaging Association. These memberships have allowed Mr. Williams to remain at the forefront of product development and network with like-minded individuals.
As a member of his community, Mr. Williams is deeply committed to his Christian faith, having served as an adult Bible school teacher at Northside Christian Church from 2001 to 2013 and teaching adult Sunday school for over 25 years. Looking ahead, he aspires to see Monoflo International achieve an additional $50 million in sales within his segment before his retirement, a testament to his unwavering dedication to the company’s success.
