Previously, she founded a successful fitness business in Washington, D.C., from 2006 to 2013, where she applied her background in rehabilitation and conditioning exercise to create a thriving boutique studio.

To support her professional ambitions, Ms. Kimmel pursued a formal education at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, from which she earned a two-year degree in rehabilitation and conditioning exercise/dance in 2001. This specialized program focused on dance for rehabilitation and movement, equipping her with unique skills that supported performers like Cirque de Soleil dancers in Las Vegas. Ms. Kimmel’s commitment to civic engagement is evident through her involvement with Rare Disease Day since 2014. She had previously contributed to Girls on the Run International from 2019 to 2022.
