Mr. Sullivan has established a distinguished career in supply chain management, operations, and financial oversight, with over 15 years of professional experience and more than a decade dedicated to the aerospace industry. He currently serves as tactical supply chain manager at Rhinestahl, a global leader in aircraft engine tooling. Since 2023, Mr. Sullivan has collaborated closely with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and oversees the entire sourcing function, determining which suppliers to engage for the company’s needs. His responsibilities extend globally, working with partners in China, Japan, India and throughout Europe, as well as numerous domestic suppliers. One of Mr. Sullivan’s proudest achievements is being part of Rhinestahl’s culture, where employees are valued and celebrated through family-inclusive events and a supportive work environment.
Before joining Rhinestahl, Mr. Sullivan was a supply chain manager at HDT Global from 2022 to 2023. Earlier in 2022, he served as a supply chain manager at L3Harris Technologies Inc., honing his expertise in managing complex supply chains within the defense sector. Mr. Sullivan initially worked for HDT Global from 2020 to 2022 as a tactical supply chain manager. He also excelled as a demand planning manager at Perfetti Van Melle.
Mr. Sullivan also held financial roles, including serving as a financial consultant for Robert Half Inc. from 2017 to 2018. He was previously affiliated with Safran as an accountant and controller between 2007 and 2012. In these capacities, he managed financial reporting and budgeting functions for the European-based aerospace company. Mr. Sullivan then transitioned into supply chain and operations management, overseeing multiple departments, including warehouse operations, production planning, procurement, and shipping and receiving, until 2017. His responsibilities included extensive international travel to Germany and France, where he collaborated with teams at Safran’s corporate headquarters near Paris and its production site in Molsheim to implement best practices and enhance operational efficiency.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Sullivan served as a performance analyst at Gap Inc. from 1998 to 2007. He began his professional journey as a picker at Johnson Controls in 1995.
Mr. Sullivan’s academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in political science from Northern Kentucky University in 2001 and a Master of Business Administration in finance from Northern Kentucky University in Highland Heights, earned in 2010. He further enhanced his credentials by achieving the Lean Six Sigma green belt certification, which recognizes his proficiency in process improvement methodologies.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Mr. Sullivan is actively engaged in civic activities and charitable initiatives. He has volunteered as a soccer coach for youth teams, including coaching all three of his children at various times, and has participated in fundraising efforts for Cub Scout organizations. Additionally, Mr. Sullivan regularly donates to multiple charities, such as the Vietnam Veterans of America, and is a consistent blood donor.
Throughout his career, Mr. Sullivan has demonstrated expertise in supply chain management, operations leadership and financial management. He is proficient in various enterprise resource planning systems, including Oracle and SAP, a testament to his commitment to continuous learning and professional growth. Mr. Sullivan attributes his accomplishments to unwavering dedication and curiosity about every aspect of business operations.
