Title: Senior Care Adviser
Company: ProMedica
Location: Parkville, Maryland, United States
Jacob R. Little, senior care adviser at ProMedica, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in health care.
Mr. Little first became involved in senior care as a teenager. When he was just 15, his great-grandmother moved into the facilities at Brightview Senior Living, not far from where he was growing up. Eager to have a job and be closer to his great-grandmother, Mr. Little became a dining server at Brightview Senior Living in 2012. This part-time job would kick off a career that is now nearing 15 years.
The first 10 years of Mr. Little’s professional life saw him progressing through roles of increasing responsibility at Brightview Senior Living. After establishing himself, as a dining server, he was promoted to dining services supervisor, dining room manager and finally community sales associate. In 2022, Mr. Little joined WayForth as an account manager, later fulfilling that same position at Town & Country Movers Inc. Further building on his experience in sales and marketing, he became a leasing and outreach coordinator at Atrium Village in 2024.
Since 2025, Mr. Little has served as a senior care adviser with ProMedica. ProMedica is a nonprofit organization devoted to improving health care and clinical outcomes in communities. As a leader in the company’s senior care division, Mr. Little makes use of his extensive experience to provide guidance to senior living facilities and clinics that work with elderly patients. He prioritizes listening to the needs of patients and impresses that value onto the clients he works with.
Though his professional journey began early in life, Mr. Little has backed up his skills with traditional education as well. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2018. Mr. Little is further supported by affiliation with a number of organizations relevant to his industry. He maintains membership in the Baltimore County Provider Council, the Senior Provider Information Network, and the Northwest Chamber of Commerce MD.
To commemorate Mr. Little’s accomplishments, he has been the subject of numerous accolades. He has been celebrated as the Associate of the Quarter and was named Top Salesperson while working for Town & Country Movers Inc. Mr. Little believes the most meaningful element of his career trajectory is his knowledge of a wide range of senior care functions, from dining to sales to marketing to opening new locations. This experience gives him a fuller view of operations than most individual employees have, allowing him to contribute more thoughtfully. Mr. Little also attributes his success to the support of mentors he has had throughout his life. He notes that learning lessons is important, and he never could have risen to the point he has in his career if he was not always eager to learn.
Outside of his career, Mr. Little is a devoted husband and a loving pet owner to two dogs and two cats. Ambitious in his future plans, he hopes to become an executive director in the years ahead. An executive role would make even more efficient use of Mr. Little’s expertise and would allow him to more directly influence the growth of an organization.
