In his leading role, Mr. Weldon assists clients in managing their projects, programs and portfolios with a primary focus on information technology-related services, software implementations and infrastructure projects. Mr. Weldon also partners with recruiting agencies to fulfill staffing requisites and acts as a preferred supplier for several states. He works closely with each state’s secretary to ensure compliance with insurance and regulatory requirements, responds to requests from preferred suppliers and manages contract bidding processes. When awarded contracts, he is responsible for hiring additional resources or ensuring that contractual obligations are met through other means. Notably, his work spans both public and private sectors, including collaborations with local governments, cities, counties, state agencies and federal government clients.
Before launching his company, Mr. Weldon spent from 2020 to 2023 as the vice president of sales at Velocity DSD Sales in Atlanta, an Alpharetta-based business specializing in outsourced field sales and DSD acceleration in the food and beverage industry. He also excelled as a project manager at Q-Matic in the Atlanta area between 2017 and 2018. In this role, he oversaw the implementation of complex projects for the international software development company.
From 2015 to 2017, Mr. Weldon was an implementation consultant at Tyler Technologies in Atlanta. He also excelled earlier in his career as a project manager at Platinum Circle Technologies, starting in 2010.
Mr. Weldon’s educational background has played a significant role in shaping his career trajectory. He attended Georgia State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2010 and an Executive Master of Business Administration in 2020. Mr. Weldon’s commitment to professional development is further evidenced by numerous certifications, including as a project management professional from the Project Management Institute, as a Lean Six Sigma green belt from Georgia State University, several credentials from Scaled Agile Inc. and LinkedIn Learning, and the completion of the Dale Carnegie course from Dale Carnegie Training.
