Before his current position, Mr. Medford was the owner of TSMA Inc., which later became Medford Medical Systems, from 1984 to 1999. In his leading position, he oversaw all aspects of the business, guiding its growth and evolution into a respected entity specializing in billing and office management software. Mr. Medford’s leadership during this period was marked by innovation and a commitment to excellence, establishing a strong foundation for the company’s success.
From 1981 to 1984, Mr. Medford was the vice president of strategic planning and control at General Electric Environmental Services, Inc. In this executive role, he was responsible for developing and implementing strategies that enhanced organizational performance and ensured regulatory compliance. Mr. Medford’s contributions were pivotal in advancing the company’s environmental initiatives and operational efficiency.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Medford held the position of vice president at Buell Emission Control, a division of Envirotech Corporation, between 1974 and 1981. He was also the assistant to the senior vice president of administration at Envirotech Corporation in Salt Lake City, Utah, from 1972 to 1974, where he provided critical administrative support and contributed to high-level decision-making processes that shaped the corporation’s growth trajectory.
Mr. Medford’s professional journey began with service in the U.S. Naval Air Force Reserve starting in 1964. His military experience instilled discipline and resilience, qualities that have underpinned his subsequent achievements in both technical and leadership roles.
Excelling academically while working full time and serving with distinction in the military, Mr. Medford earned an Associate of Science in pre-engineering from Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, California, in 1963. He also received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus on electrical and electronics engineering, with honors, from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1968, and a Master of Business Administration from the Marriott School of Business at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, in 1972.
Mr. Medford attributes his success to overcoming early abuse, developing resilience, and committing to personal integrity. After experiencing voicelessness from trauma in childhood, he invested in himself, excelling in college and in the U.S. Naval Air Reserves and earning top marks in electronics training, before devoting himself to his civilian career.
A recognized expert in data processing and management consulting, Mr. Medford has demonstrated exceptional proficiency throughout his career. Now semi-retired, his ability to navigate complex challenges and deliver innovative solutions has earned him respect among peers and industry leaders alike. Looking toward the future, Mr. Medford plans to either teach or consult further, while dedicating more time to his family, which includes six sons, three daughters and 22 grandchildren. His life reflects resilience, integrity and an enduring commitment to both professional excellence and family values.
