Michael Nizar Yaich, Senior Program Manager at the U.S. Federal Government, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements and leadership in Program Management.
Mr. Yaich is recognized for a distinguished career in public service, marked by a steadfast commitment to national security and the effective stewardship of taxpayer resources. Since 2020, he has served as a senior program manager for the U.S. federal government, where he oversees a program valued at more than $500 million. This initiative delivers critical services to national security agencies, the U.S. Department of Defense, the U.S. Department of State, and local, state and tribal law enforcement entities.
In this capacity, Mr. Yaich has demonstrated exceptional expertise in intelligence and national security programs, financial management and contract oversight. He is particularly proud of his achievements in managing contracts and contractors, ensuring accountability and developing robust risk mitigation strategies. Mr. Yaich’s efforts have resulted in government savings exceeding $125 million in a little over five years, directly benefiting both the government and taxpayers.
Before pivoting back into the government sector, Mr. Yaich was a senior program manager at the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority from 2018 to 2020. There, he was responsible for large-scale infrastructure projects that supported the region’s transit operations and security initiatives. In 2018, Mr. Yaich contributed as a subject matter expert and infrastructure senior project manager for the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts, focusing on critical IT infrastructure improvements. From 2017 to 2018, he held the position of IT infrastructure senior project manager at E*TRADE.
Between 2016 and 2017, Mr. Yaich excelled as an IT infrastructure senior project manager for the USAID Global Health Supply Chain Program-Procurement and Supply Management. His earlier roles included IT project senior manager at the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics from 2015 to 2016, after holding titles with companies like ICS-Company Confidential and Royal Caribbean International. Mr. Yaich began his career with Walt Disney World in 2004 as a program manager.
Mr. Yaich received a Bachelor of Science in economics and social science with a focus on international economics from Académie de Paris in France in 1997. He later acquired a Bachelor of Business Administration in international global marketing and management from the University of West Florida in Pensacola in 2004 and a master’s degree in intelligence and global security from Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 2016. Mr. Yaich notably speaks over 15 languages fluently.
Besides his formal education, Mr. Yaich earned numerous professional credentials that underscore his technical proficiency and leadership capabilities. Among them, he received program financial management II, life cycle logistician, certification for contracting officer’s representatives level II (FAC-COR), and program and project managers (FAC-P/PM), all awarded by Defense Acquisition University in 2025. Mr. Yaich also received designation as a project management professional from the Project Management Institute in 2018, along with more than 30 additional certifications across related disciplines.
Civically active, Mr. Yaich has been affiliated with numerous organizations and has volunteered with nonprofits such as FEMA and UNICEF. He maintains membership with Scottish Rite, Clearwater Lodge No. 127 F.&A.M., InfraGardNCR, and the Intelligence and National Security Alliance. Additionally, Mr. Yaich is recognized as the executive secretary to the grand master of the Grand Lodge of Washington, D.C., and as a master mason with the Grand Lodge of Florida.
Throughout his career, Mr. Yaich has been recognized for his ability to ensure that mission-critical systems, such as biometric identity management, remain operational without outages or vulnerabilities. As a federal emergency response official, he is dedicated to maintaining system readiness and resilience.
Mr. Yaich’s contributions have been recognized through several prestigious awards, such as commendation from President Barack Obama through the Executive Office of the President in 2016 and a Distinguished Meritorious Service Medal Valentine’s Medal from The Grand Lodge of Washington, D.C., in 2020. He attributes his success to unwavering support from his family, especially his wife, and guidance from influential mentors.
