Before his current position, Mr. Bennett was a director at Acosta Group, Acosta Inc., from 2023 to 2025. In this capacity, he expanded the company’s reach within the convenience sector and enhanced client relationships through innovative solutions tailored to evolving market demands. Between 2022 and 2023, he served as a senior business manager at the company.
Mr. Bennett’s earlier experience included serving as the market sales leader for Campbell Soup Company, now The Campbell Soup Company, from 2019 to 2021. While at Campbell’s, he was part of a Texas sales team that earned prestigious recognition, having won the Margaret Rudkin Award, which was given to the top sales leaders nationwide at the time. Mr. Bennett also worked for Pepperidge Farm Inc., beginning in 2015 as a route performance manager before advancing to territory sales representative from 2015 to 2019.
From 2010 to 2015, Mr. Bennett worked as executive team lead at Target Brands Inc. Before pivoting into retail, he was a site director for after-school child care at YMCA of Arlington, now Arlington-Mansfield Area YMCA, from 2007 to 2010, where he managed program operations and staff development.
Mr. Bennett’s academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Business Administration in management from the University of Texas at Arlington, earned in 2009. The knowledge gained during his studies has been instrumental in shaping his approach to leadership and business strategy.
Active in his community, Mr. Bennett is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. and the Harmony Community Development Corporation, reflecting his commitment to professional excellence and community engagement. He also volunteers with Concord Church in Dallas, Texas, through its community outreach program, and supports various charitable initiatives as a donor.
Throughout his career, Mr. Bennett has been recognized for his dedication and achievements. Earlier accolades included the Market Rudkin Award from Campbell’s Soup/Pepperidge Farm in 2018. In 2024, he received the Broker of the Year award from the National Coalition Association of 7-Eleven Franchisees for his exemplary service in helping clients navigate franchise operations and brand representation within stores. That same year, Mr. Bennett was honored with the Emerging Leader award by The Shelby Report from Shelby Publishing Co. Inc., as well as an award from Bel Brands.
