Mr. Goodman has established himself in financial technology and investment banking project management, marked by two decades of progressive experience and expertise. He is recognized for his persistence, adaptability and commitment to continuous learning, qualities that have defined his professional journey and earned him the respect of colleagues and industry peers.

In 2024, Mr. Goodman began serving as a project manager II at FIS, a Florida-based organization that provides financial technology solutions to financial institutions, businesses and developers. As such, he is responsible for managing client projects, tracking development progress, coordinating with sales teams on new contracts, attending client and developer meetings, documenting action items and ensuring timely project delivery. His role also includes supporting projects through handover to support teams, managing budgets, dispatching resources and providing organizational oversight. Mr. Goodman notably set benchmarks for project teams, ensuring client success rate of over 95%. His ability to balance technical requirements with interpersonal relationship-building has been instrumental to his success at FIS.

From 2022 to 2023, Mr. Goodman served as a senior project manager at FIS, managing complex projects and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. His long-standing association with FIS began in 2005, where he contributed in various other capacities until 2022. During this period, Mr. Goodman developed a deep understanding of the organization’s operations and built strong relationships with colleagues and clients alike. It was during this time that an opportunity arose for him to work closely with project managers, a pivotal moment that led him to pursue a dedicated career in project management.

In addition to his tenure at FIS, Mr. Goodman worked as a project manager at MGM from 2023 to 2024. His work at MGM was instrumental in helping solidify his reputation as a determined and trustworthy professional who consistently delivers results.

Mr. Goodman’s academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Arts from the University at Albany, State University of New York, completed in 2006. The knowledge gained through his undergraduate studies provided a strong basis for his analytical approach to problem-solving and effective communication, skills that have been vital throughout his career. More recently, Mr. Goodman obtained the project management professional certification from the Project Management Institute, Inc., in 2023. A significant milestone for him, achieving this credential underscored his determination and resilience during a challenging period. Although Mr. Goodman had already secured a professional role without the certification, earning it represented a turning point that validated his expertise and commitment to professional growth.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Mr. Goodman is civically engaged as a donor to Amnesty International and the American Civil Liberties Union. He also volunteers with Unity House of Troy.

Mr. Goodman attributes much of his success to the values instilled by his mother and grandmother, whose resilience and work ethic inspired him from an early age. Overcoming speech challenges in childhood further fueled his drive to exceed expectations. Additionally, Mr. Goodman credits an influential educator from a high school communication program called New Visions as one of the best teachers he ever had.

Looking ahead, Mr. Goodman intends to integrate his professional background with personal passions by contributing to technology regulation and addressing environmental concerns. He is also considering opportunities in academia or think tanks to help shape the future of technology and policy. Mr. Goodman’s career reflects not only technical proficiency but also an enduring commitment to personal growth, community involvement and advancing the human element within technology-driven industries.
