In 2009, he was transferred to the Palo Alto, California, office as the director of customer engagement.
Joining Adobe in 2010 as a group product marketing manager for document services, Mr. Gerber progressed through several positions before assuming his current role, including director of Acrobat product marketing, senior director of document cloud product marketing, and vice president of document cloud product marketing, where he led Acrobat and functioned essentially as a business owner, involved in end-to-end involvement. His tenure at Adobe has been marked by significant contributions to product marketing and strategic initiatives that have enhanced the company’s market presence.
In preparation for his future, Mr. Gerber earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and psychology from Heidelberg University in Tiffin, Ohio, and a Master of Arts in English from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. These academic achievements have provided him with a strong foundation in communication and understanding human motivation, which he applies daily in his professional endeavors. Additionally, Mr. Gerber holds a certification in marketing from the Amos Tuck school of business administration at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire.
