In preparation for her career, Ms. Springer attended Edison State Community College, where she earned an Associate of Arts in science in 1976. She continued her academic pursuits at the University of South Florida’s College of Business Administration, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in business administration and management in 1978. Ms. Springer concluded her higher education at Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business, receiving an MBA in 1990. As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), she started as the president of Springer & Associates, CPA, PC in 1991, where she worked for a decade. In 2001, she transitioned to a role as the owner of Strategic Business Resources Inc., additionally serving as the president of the Legacy Wealth Management Group from 2006 to 2010. Since 2006, she has worked as the founder of Run A Successful Business Inc., and since 2002 she has been the founder and president of Springer & Company CPAs PC.
Ms. Springer has found additional success as a business educator, serving as a former adjunct professor of business at both Mercer University and Kennesaw State University. She has also excelled through her written work, authoring the Amazon Bestseller “Turning Your Passion Into Your Dream Business” in 2011. Currently, she is working on her second book, “God Sequences,” which focuses on her faith and her belief in a divine plan. Among her myriad career achievements, Ms. Springer has been recognized with numerous honors and accolades, including being named a 5-Star Professional CPA by Atlanta Magazine since 2014 and a NAIFA-Atlanta Top Female Advisor in 2014 and 2015. She was nominated for the Georgia Writers Association Non-Fiction Award in 2008 and was awarded the Cobb Chamber of Commerce’s Top 25 Small Business Award in 2007, among others. She maintains affiliation with numerous professional organizations, including the National Association of Women Business Owners, the Women in Financial Services and the Georgia Society of CPAs, among others.
