After witnessing how valuable his father’s work was, Mr. Thornhill decided to pursue the same field of work. He was inspired to become a respected individual in the business industry, just as his father was. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science from Purdue Global University, Mr. Thornhill set out on his quest for professional success. He proceeded to enter the United States Army, working as a combat medic. In the years following his return from military service, he began working as an operations manager at BestDrive In 2016. He later became the regional and general manager at GCR Tires & Service.
In 2019, Mr. Thornhill became the general and operations manager at McCarthy Tire Service in South Carolina. He remains in this position today, overseeing the business and making sure it consistently runs smoothly. A Tire Industry Association Level 300 Instructor, Mr. Thornhill earned the Modern Tire Dealer award from the Rising Stars of the Tire Industry in 2020. Some of his daily highlights at work consist of recruiting and developing exceptional teammates, conducting day to day operations with ease, and selling and managing service operations. In the next five years, Mr. Thornhill hopes to transition to become the director of sales at his current company. Outside of his business endeavors, he enjoys playing with his children, watching football, and playing golf.
