A licensed clinical social worker in the states of Colorado and Missouri, Mr. Flanagan has served as the chief executive officer and administrator for the Center for Cognitive Disorders since 2017. Additionally, he has contributed to the Telehealth Web-Case Practice in Miramar, Florida since 2015. Prior to these appointments, he has excelled in executive roles with the Thomas Flanagan Corporation, Shawnee Mission Health, Shadow Mountain Recovery, Liberty Family Counseling and Mena Community Hospital over a course of nearly 30 years. At the beginning of his career, Mr. Flanagan worked as a therapist for the Gillis Home for Children from 1979 to 1981.
Prior to embarking upon his professional path, Mr. Flanagan earned a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Kansas, Lawrence in 1978. The following year, he concluded his studies with a Master of Social Work from the aforementioned university. Furthermore, he became a licensed specialist clinical social worker in the state of Kansas. In an effort to remain aware of changes in the field of social work, Mr. Flanagan maintains a professional relationship with the National Association of Social Workers.
Mr. Flanagan became involved in his profession since he had a desire to help others and society in general. The highlight of his career was working for Horizon Mental Health Management from the 1990s throughout 2012. During his time with the company, he was responsible for completing management jobs on the company’s behalf throughout the country in psychiatric hospitals and hospitals with embedded psychiatric units. In the coming years, Mr. Flanagan wants to continue to expand Telehealth Web-Case Practice.
