Patricia A. Singletary, DD, DMN, M.Div, Pastor and Minister, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in ministry.
Upon receiving a divine call from God, Dr. Singletary has since devoted her life’s mission to ministry as a pastor and minister. Prior to her retirement in 2003, she was a pastor at Elmendorf Reformed Church and an associate minister at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church of Jamaica. Civically, she has been vice-chair of the Spiritual Commission of Clergywomen and vice president of the Queens County for Young Pastors, Ministers Evangelist Eastern Baptist Association and Classics New York. Notably, Dr. Singletary is the founder of Adoni Economic Enterprises Inc. and the co-founder of Harlem’s African American Burial Ground Task Force. Outside of her faith-based work, she served the Depository Trust Co. for 35 years as a senior reorganization underwriter, accountant coordinator and security specialist. Additionally, she is the author of, “The African-American Guide to Buying Stock Without a Broker.”
Matriculating at New World Bible Institute & Seminary, Dr. Singletary received a Bachelor of Theology in 1984 and a Master of Religious Education in 1986. The recipient of a Doctor of Divinity from the Tennessee Baptist School of Religion in 1989, she went on to achieve an Associate of Science and a Bachelor of Science from SUNY-Empire State College in 1991, as well as an Associate of Arts from the Virginia Seminary and College in 1995. She also earned a Master of Divinity in 1995 and a Doctor of Ministry in 2010, both from the New Brunswick Theological Seminary. Likewise, she completed training in investment banking at New York University in 1996. To attest to her legacy, Dr. Singletary is also listed in numerous editions of Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare, Who’s Who in Religion, Who’s Who in the East, Who’s Who in the World, Who’s Who of American Women and Who’s Who of Emerging Leaders in America.
