Since 2009, Mr. Stroman has provided superior service as founder and president of The Brass Effect, a premier information technology (IT) servicing firm headquartered in Frisco, Texas that offers IT support services, office data cabling installation and private security including the installation of security cameras, access control, alarms and IoT sensors. Previously, he had excelled as a systems administrator from 1997 to 2000 with industrial tools manufacturer Florida Pneumatic, IT manager with Jack Nicklaus Golf from 2000 to 2006, director of technology with OffSite CIO from 2006 to 2009. He has additionally served in an advisory capacity with digital advisory board service AdvisoryCloud since 2020.
After initially obtaining an Associate of Science in Applied Science from DeVry University, Mr. Stroman pursued coursework in general studies with Palm Beach Community College and in computer engineering with Florida Atlantic University before attaining his Bachelor of Science in technical management and later a Master of Arts in project management with distinction from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University in 2013.
Mr. Stroman served his country with distinction in the United States Army and was decorated with an Air Assault Badge, Army Commendation Medal, Southwest Asia Medal and Two Bronze Stars awarded for meritorious service. His professional memberships include the Sigma Beta Delta International Honor Society of Business, Management and Administration; Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA); Building Industry Consulting Service International and Forbes Dallas Business Council.
As his career-best achievement, Mr. Stroman cites Building up The Brass Effect, Inc. to the point where it enjoys a solid reputation as a company providing quality products and services. In the coming years, he plans on doing some business coaching to offer his expertise to businesses that have trouble taking off and growing.
