After initially obtaining a Bachelor of Science in economics and finance, in 1987 from St. Joseph’s College in Bangalore, India, Mr. Iyer continued his education with Master in Business Administration in finance from St. Joseph’s College in 1993. After immigrating to the United States, he was certified as a graduate gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America in 2005, and served as a second lieutenant with the Civil Air Patrol for the Auxiliary of the United States Air Force.
With Forever Diamonds, Mr. Iyer’s primary roles include checking his vendors oversees on different orders that he is expecting to receive. He also ensures that the store is set up for presentation when clients arrive. He then ensures the safety of his clients and employees, especially during the pandemic. Mr. Iyer started the business because of his desire to be part of weddings, one of the most important events in life. Seeing the smile of couples who buy wedding rings and seeing the proposals done at the store brings him great pleasure.
