Md Bellal Hossein, Director of Operations and Business Development at DCT Inc., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in telecommunications.
Born in Bangladesh, Mr. Hossain initially obtained a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering in 2007 from Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology. After immigrating to the United States in 2014, he continued his professional education with coursework in project management at Pace University in New York in 2017 and a Master of Technology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2018.
Mr. Hossain provided superior service as site engineer from 2006 to 2007 with MR Telecommunication Engineering, as project in charge from 2007 to 2013 with Detec Engineering and Technologies in Dhaka and project coordinator, operation and maintenance with GTL Intl Bangladesh Pvt. Ltd. He has excelled with DCT Inc., in New York since 2014 as a lead project manager and RF engineer, manager of operations and RAN and director of operations and business development, where his responsibilities include managing technology project roll-outs and client relationships with profit and loss accountability. In addition, Mr. Hossain manages a cross-functional team that includes program and project managers, solution architects, software developers, integration and testing engineers along with onsite crews.
Mr. Hossain’s professional memberships include the Society of Broadcasting Engineers, New York Wireless Association, New Jersey Wireless Association, American Institute of Architects, National Society of Professional Engineering, NATE OSHA Relations Committee and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
Taking his inspiration on his own and not from somebody else is what helped Mr. Hossain become successful in his career. He became involved in his profession because ever since he was a child he already had an interest in electronics and was also inspired by an astronaut who visited Bangladesh, which encouraged him to study electrical engineering so he could join NASA.
Mr. Hossain considers his most notable achievement was in 2018 when Nokia made a cabinet that had a major problem and he discovered the error Nokia made during the manufacturing process and provided the solution. In coming years, In the next five years, Mr. Hossain would like to work in New York City or New York State as a volunteer. He aspires to do some charity work involving helping the homeless.
