Since 2002, Ms. Dahodwala has prospered as vice president of business development at IC-Advantage, Inc., a leading distributor and representative for a wide variety of products and manufacturers that are utilized in the Space and Aerospace market. We represent some of the premier manufacturing companies based in the United States of America and Europe that service this industry. IC-Advantage assists in the distribution of rare earth magnets, ball bearings, aerospace cables, high voltage equipment, adhesives and sealants and ruggedized containers resistant to water, heat and corrosion.
After initially obtaining a bachelor’s degree in history and international relations in 1979 from Boston University (BU), Ms. Dahodwala continued her education with a Doctor of Jurisprudence and later a master’s degree in 1983, also from BU. She has additionally excelled in tax practice, business consultation and real estate. Keenly interested in community matters, Ms. Dahodwala has directed the Billerica Community Pantry, servicing 300 families who are food insecure, and served on the finance committees for the presidential candidacies of Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden.
Ms. Dahodwala attributes her success to hard work and strong work ethic. The highlight of her career was being able sell products to the Indian Space Institute, as she is an immigrant from India; IC-Advantage has been doing business with the Institute for 12 years. In the immediate future, Ms. Dahodwala will continue to work towards the growth and success of IC-Advantage. At the same time, she is more interested in her nonprofit work as she grows older and intends to continue helping the Democratic Party and the democratic process.
