Having obtained a bachelor’s degree in finance, Mr. Hansen found much success as Vice President of International Operations with Western Union Financial Services, Inc., where he was named Entrepreneur of the Year for Western Union in 2005; Vice President for Operations, First Data Corporation (Now Fiserv, Inc.); and with investments and retirement planning firm Transamerica and payment service provider Cybersource. Since 2018, he has provided superior service as a financial specialist with Allstate Insurance Company. His professional memberships include The National Association of Personal Financial Advisors.
Mr. Hansen attributes his success to his clients. He always puts their interests first, as he genuinely wishes to help them. He became involved in his profession because of his enjoyment of the accounting class he took in high school, and so he obtained a degree in finance and a minor in economics with a concentration in international finance. As a career highlight, he remembers negotiating a major contract for the technical maintenance of the entire Western Union business, a significant accomplishment and a major achievement to be able to work with various people from around the world. In the coming years, Mr. Hansen intends to mentor his clients and do some traveling with his wife, Deedra.
