Prior to beginning her vocational journey, Ms. Seroka pursued a formal education at Arizona State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology in 1981 and a Master of Education in special populations, special education and teaching in 1984. She subsequently continued her studies between 1992 and 1993 at the University of Houston-Clear Lake, where she completed coursework in educational leadership and administration. To commemorate her commitment in the field, Ms. Seroka was previously recognized with the Community Partner Award by Sea Star Base Galveston. In addition to her professional accomplishments, she is also well regarded as a civic-minded citizen, volunteering at children’s centers and participating in extensive community outreach. To wit, Ms. Seroka attributes much of her success to her perseverance, and she intends to continue volunteering in her community for as long as she is able, even after retiring sometime in the near future.
