She went on to earn a Master of Science in telecommunications and IT management at the Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota in 2005 and is pursuing her doctorate in business administration with Walden University. Ms. Dunphy plans to graduate in 2023. In addition to her formal degrees, she holds numerous professional certifications, including being a Qualified Security Assessor, a Certified Information Systems Security Professional, a Project Management Professional, a Certified Information Systems Auditor, and holding a Secure Controls Framework Certification.

Ms. Dunphy has shared her knowledge as a professor, teacher, and curriculum writer. She has maintained affiliation with multiple organizations related to her profession, including the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, the Project Management Institute, the Information Systems Audit and Control Association, the Sherwood Applied Business Security Architecture Institute, and the National Society of Leadership and Success. Ms. Dunphy attributes her success to her children, believing her drive to be a role model pushed her to achieve success. In the coming years, she plans to finish her doctorate and expand her network in her industry.
