With more than three decades of experience to her credit in the field of nursing, Ms. Wilson has earned distinction as the chief executive officer at MRJ Medical Inc., a home health care service based in Plantation, Florida. Bearing a wealth of expertise in the areas of pediatric, life support, wound care and IV nursing, she is primarily responsible for supervising the efforts of approximately 200 employees, as well as ensuring that her organization adheres to industry guidelines. Prior to her work in this capacity, Ms. Wilson serves as a nurse in an intensive care unit setting, and in an administrative role.
Ms. Wilson first studied at Broward College, from which she attained an Associate of Arts and Sciences, and graduated from the school nursing program. Eminently qualified in her field, she has been certified as a core unit nurse, an intravenous nurse, and a clinical specialist. Outside of her primary endeavors, Ms. Wilson has also availed herself on behalf of her local community as a critical care nurse with the American Red Cross between 1990 and 2016, during which time she contributed to humanitarian and disaster relief efforts.
In accounting for her success, Ms. Wilson credits her propensity for consistency, as well as her persistence and passion for what she does. Among her most cherished accomplishments, she is most proud that her own son has followed her example by pursuing a career in the field of health care. Looking toward the future, Ms. Wilson aspires to lead an organization that will empower parents with disabled children to pursue their college careers, become more involved in commercial business, and reach greater acceptance in their respective communities.
