With more than 15 years of experience in the field of insurance, Mr. McFarland has found success as an account executive / broker for AonCoverWallet since 2021. He was previously a benefit account manager with Paylocity, a life and health insurance agent, an account manager with Risk Placement Services Inc. (a Gallagher company), an International Service Specialist for Zurich North America., an Account Specialist for Aon Client Services, and has another 12 years of various other professional experiences including a certified teachers aide. Mr. McFarland has previously held a license in health, life and accidental insurance and currently holds a license in property and casualty insurance. He’s a former member of various professional networking groups including Zurich African American Alliance and the Women’s International Networking Group to name a few.
In recognition of his professional accomplishments, Mr. McFarland was the recipient of 3 Bronze Awards from Zurich North America, in addition to multiple recognitions from his colleagues all across the globe. He prepared for his career at Aurora University, where he completed coursework in philosophy, workforce development, international business, teaching and training. He continued his education at Dominican University, where he completed coursework in business, management, marketing, teaching and related support services. Mr. McFarland studied at Harper College from 2003 to 2004 and the College of Lake County from 2010 to 2011 before graduating from Harper College with an Associate of Arts in communications in 2020 in addition to an Associate of General Studies in the beginning of the following year (2021). Mr. McFarland currently is pursuing interests in insurance designations, creating a small at home e-commerce business and has aspirations to become a pilot.
