Specializing in mergers and acquisitions, he is primarily responsible for liaising with agency managers and integrating their businesses into Northwood’s model of operations. Likewise active as the president of Northcoast New York, Mr. Vecchiotti previously served in various roles at Brown and Brown of New York, as well as Prudential Financial Services.

Mr. Vecchiotti first studied at Nazareth University, from which he earned a bachelor’s degree in management science in 1981. Shortly thereafter, he became a licensed agent in New York. To remain aware of developments in the field, he maintained his affiliation with several relevant organizations, including the Independent Insurance Agents of New York, for which he served as a past president and director.

Well-regarded for his accomplishments, Mr. Vecchiotti was notably recognized as the Rochester Insurance Professional of the Year by the Individual Insurance Agents and Rochester Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter Society in 2006. Likewise dedicated to civic endeavors, he has volunteered prolifically on behalf of the March of Dimes organization, earning accolades as the Volunteer of the Year for the FingerLakes Chapter in both 1996 and 2006. Furthermore, he served as the namesake of the Tony Vecchiotti Award, which is given annually to volunteers in recognition of their long-term service to the March of Dimes in upstate New York. Active in the culture of insurance as a teacher, volunteer and salesperson, Mr. Vecchiotti hopes to cement his legacy among his peers as a friend and mentor.
