Eduardo J. Ruiz, president and general manager of OLE Distribution, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the television industry.
Drawing on more than 20 years of experience, Mr. Ruiz has cultivated a fulfilling career as the president and general manager of OLE Distribution, having originally joined the company in 2003. In his leadership positions, he oversees the distribution of various channels from A&E Television Networks LLC, including the History Channel and Lifetime Television, in Latin America. Well-versed in international television broadcasts, he previously operated as the president for the international division of The Weather Channel from 1996 to 2002 at the onset of his career.
As part of his dedication to his industry, Mr. Ruiz remains active as a member of the International Academy of Arts & Entertainment, and he is a founding member and the treasurer of the Latin American Media Advertising Council. He also previously pursued a formal education, ultimately achieving a master’s degree at Loyola University New Orleans in 1986. To commemorate his accomplishments in the field, he has been honored with an Emmy Award, a Lion’s Club Award, and several Promax Awards. In light of his fulfilling career, Mr. Ruiz has largely attributed his success to the support of his parents, and in the coming years, he hopes to continue finding further success in his industry.
