Ms. Jones is an accomplished health care professional with more than 25 years of experience to her credit. Since 2009, she has been the president and owner of Aamira Home Care, and since 2002, she has found success as the vice president of clinical operations and owner of Benevolent Home Health Care Inc. In these positions, Ms. Jones boasts more than 200 members of staff with both companies.
In preparation for her career, Ms. Jones attended the University of Maryland School of Nursing, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1992. In addition to her formal degrees, she is a Registered Nurse and Certified Case Manager. For her professional accomplishments, she was featured among Women in the Year with Women’s Enterprise Magazine in 2023.
Ms. Jones’ business was named the Best Training Organization by the Home Care Association of America in 2022. Alongside her formal positions, she maintains membership with The Bow Collective. Among her accomplishments, Ms. Jones considers the highlight of her career to be helping nearly 1000 people remain in their homes instead of moving into managed care homes.
Ms. Jones comes from a family of entrepreneurs and found her current niche after recognizing a lack of quality health care providers in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. In the future, she hopes to expand with additional agencies in different states. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her family, going to museums and spending time in her RV.
