Susan Billings-Mirabella, PhD, Chief Commercial Officer of Vivodyne, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in medicinal chemistry, corporate strategy and business development.
Since 2022, Dr. Billings-Mirabella has been the chief commercial officer of Vivodyne. In this role, she sets corporate strategy, engages with pharmaceutical companies and puts together deal structures for partnerships. From 2016 to 2022, she was the vice president of Albany Molecular Research Inc., now Curia Global Inc., before which she served the same company as the senior director of business development, the director of business development and a key account director of strategic partnerships.
Dr. Billings-Mirabella prepared for her career at Villanova University, earning a Bachelor of Science in chemistry in 2001. She completed an internship with Sanofi in 1999 and with Merck & Co. Inc. from 2000 to 2001. In 2007, she graduated from the University of California, Irvine, with a Doctor of Philosophy in organic chemistry. Alongside her primary roles, Dr. Billings-Mirabella authored “Partnering with a CDMO for Orphan Drug Development” with Contract Pharma in 2021. In her spare time, she enjoys running, playing with her children and spending time outside.
