With more than 35 years of experience to her credit, Ms. McNamee has excelled since 2018 as the principal consultant with Elizabeth McNamee LLC. Prior to this role, she was the vice president of network management with ValueOptions Inc. in 1999 and the vice president of corporate development and government affairs with Health Partners Plans Inc. from 1996 to 1998. From 1985 to 1995, Ms. McNamee garnered experience with the Northern region of Health Net of California Inc., rising from the role of vice president to corporate vice president of policy research and development.
In preparation for her career, Ms. McNamee earned a Bachelor of Arts from Trinity University. In 1970, she graduated from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston with a Master of Public Health. Alongside her primary roles, Ms. McNamee was the chair-elect of the Community College of the Air Force from 1994 to 1998 and the vice president of the First Presbyterian Academy from 1989 to 1992. She has been deeply involved in health care throughout her career, serving as the chair of the compliance committee with Health Care Excel from 2008 to 2014 and as the chair of The Healthcare Institute with the Arizona Hospital and Healthcare Association from 1999 to 2004. In her spare time, Ms. McNamee enjoys hiking, visiting national parks and learning about natural history.
