Prior to these positions, he worked as the chief executive officer and co-founder for ScheduLogics, LLC between 2005 and 2019 and a senior principal tech advisor in the NextGen Interagency Planning Office between 2012 and 2018. Mr. Hofmann initially thrived with CCxH as the founder and owner from 2004 to 2012 and a principal investigator from 2006 to 2012.
Mr. Hofmann previously contributed to the Tanker Airlift Control Center in numerous engineering roles between 1998 and 2006. During this time, he was recruited by MITRE as the lead multi-discipline systems development engineer from 2000 to 2005. From 1995 to 1998, he served as the joint mobility control group systems manager for the U.S. Transportation Command. Following these accomplishments, he earned multiple certifications in flight instruction and airline transport piloting from the Federal Aviation Administration. Notably, Mr. Hofmann refined his skills within his field with the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Air Force Reserve, through which he advanced to myriad administrative and piloting ranks over the years, including as the department director of communications and chief information officer for the U.S. Air Force Reserve Command Headquarters between 2007 and 2009.
Mr. Hofmann attributes his success to always seeking the next opportunity, refusing to accept no for an answer, and the support of his mentors and his wife. Inspired by his father, who was also a military veteran, he became passionate about aviation during his formative years. Among the many highlights of his career, he is incredibly proud of saving the lives of nearly 30 people and assisting with the rescue of more than 40 others while working in Alaska. He also fondly recalls assessing cybersecurity risks for the Obama Administration, which help make the country more secure. Looking toward the future, Mr. Hofmann hopes to continue his successful consulting career with CCxH LLC while simultaneously pursuing his doctorate and seeking opportunities to mentor and teach the next generation of professionals in his field.
