Ronnie Hanson, MHA, BSN, Risk Management Consultant at Coverys and Co-Founder of Rayne Refillery, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in risk management and health care administration.
Since 2021, Ms. Hanson has found success as a risk management consultant at Coverys. In this role, she covers 15 facilities throughout New England, serving doctor’s offices and large health care facilities. She assists with education and consults on risk and patient safety. Alongside this position, she co-founded Rayne Refillery with her daughter in 2021, through which she offers plastic-free, cruelty-free, plant-based, all-natural products that are available for refill. Ms. Hanson is proud to reduce single-use plastics and reduce the amount of trash sent to landfills through her business.
With more than 20 years of experience to her credit, Ms. Hanson previously served as the director of patient safety and risk for the Portsmouth Regional Hospital of New Hampshire from 2020 to 2021 and was a senior clinical patient safety specialist with the same hospital in 2020. From 2016 to 2020, she was a clinical risk coordinator at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, where she started as an administrative assistant in quality and risk in 2002. Ms. Hanson held numerous roles at the hospital, including as a registered telemetry nurse, an emergency nurse and an assistant nurse manager.
In preparation for her career, Ms. Hanson earned an associate degree in criminal justice from McIntosh College in 1998. She went on to obtain an associate degree in nursing from Concord Community College in 2007 and graduated from the University of Phoenix in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Ms. Hanson concluded her higher education in 2016, earning a Master of Health Administration from the University of Phoenix. Alongside her formal degrees, she holds certification in patient safety and health care risk management. To keep abreast of her field, Ms. Hanson has maintained affiliation with the American Society for Health Care Risk Management. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, spending time with her dogs, walking and reading.
