Darryl Gable Aye, independent corporate trainer, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in security training.
With over 20 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Aye has excelled as an independent corporate trainer since 2023. He began his career as a certified security trainer for the Department of Criminal Justice where he worked for 20 years. He served as security supervisor for Wave Hill from 2002 to 2007, the New York Historical Society from 2007 to 2009, and the Museum of the Moving Image from 2010 to 2017. He continued his career at Security Industry Specialists where he held the role of security training coordinator from 2017 to 2021.
Concurrent to these positions, Mr. Aye was active as lead instructor at One on One Consultants since 2008 and as an instructor at Big Apple Learning Center since 2010. He contributed to Allied Universal Security Services as northeast regional trainer from 2021 to 2023. He found further success as a novelist, a freelance photographer, and a school portrait photographer.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Aye pursued an education at Superior Career Institute where he earned an associate of science. He continued his academic efforts and completed coursework at the Germain School of Photography. He was certified as a security trainer by the Department of Criminal Justice Services in 2004.
Beyond his responsibilities within the field, Mr. Aye has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles. He considers publishing his novel “Widow’s Peak” in 2004 to be his most notable accomplishment and is currently writing a sequel. He served as host and producer of “The GIT BIZ-Z Talent Showcase” from 1994 to 2002.
Mr. Aye attributes his success to a good work ethic, and believing that if he intends to do a job, he will strive to be the best at it. In addition, he cites his mother as a role model for her determination and hard work as a single parent. In the immediate future, he hopes to expand his training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and to become a motivational speaker to inspire others.
