He previously served at Massage Envy as the franchise operations trainer and recruiter between 2005 and 2009 before advancing to senior director of therapist development, a position he occupied until 2014. Between 2003 and 2005, he worked as a career services counselor at the Tempe Campus of the Arizona School of Massage Therapy. Additionally, he participates as a member of many organizations, including the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, the Association of Work and Organizational Psychology, and the Society for Human Resources Management.
Attributing his success to the significant support of his mother, Mr. Zak overcame his reading difficulties and obtained a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Phoenix in 2011. Subsequently, he graduated with a master’s degree in work, organization, and human resources psychology from the University of Valencia and the University of Paris Descartes IV in 2016. Furthermore, he was presented with the Erasmus Mundus Granted Student Award from the University of Valencia. In the upcoming years, he aims to gain further experience in human resources so he can provide more support for those with whom he works. He would also enjoy dedicating his attention to international travel.
