Christy Cody, Global Director of Talent Acquisition at NetScout, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements and leadership in Human Resources Management.
Ms. Cody currently serves as the global director of talent acquisition at NetScout, a position she has held since 2021. In this capacity, she manages a team of six direct reports and oversees all aspects of hiring for the organization. Her responsibilities include supervising all recruiters, managing internal processes related to talent acquisition and collaborating closely with high-level vice presidents, senior vice presidents and executives on key open positions. Additionally, Ms. Cody leads several projects focused on contractor management.
Before being named to her current position, Ms. Cody served as the senior human resource manager at NetScout from 2015 to 2021. During this period, she played an instrumental role in shaping the company’s human resources strategies and policies, supporting organizational growth and ensuring alignment between business objectives and talent management initiatives. In addition to managing the local office team, Ms. Cody supported employees globally within the cybersecurity business unit.
Ms. Cody’s foundational experience in human resources began at Coca-Cola Enterprises Inc. in 2000, where she worked as a senior human resource administrator supporting various administrative functions and gaining valuable experience in recruitment and personnel management. She was promoted to employee relations manager in 2003, where she was involved in addressing workplace concerns, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and coaching managers on disciplinary issues, suspensions and formal write-ups.
Recruited by ArbornNetworks (now NetScout) in 2007, Ms. Cody became a senior human resources business partner. She then transitioned into the role of human resource manager from 2010 to 2015 and became a senior human resource manager between 2015 and 2021.
Ms. Cody’s academic background included earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in management with a concentration in human resources from Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti in 1999. Her commitment to professional excellence is further demonstrated by her active membership in the Society for Human Resource Management and the Women in Cybersecurity organization.
Initially influenced by her father, a certified public accountant, who operated an independent firm, Ms. Cody considered a career in accounting and assisted with tax preparation from the age of 14. However, after discovering that accounting did not align with her social nature, she shifted her focus to general management before ultimately finding her passion for human resources through an impactful internship experience.
Throughout her career, Ms. Cody has established herself as an expert in talent acquisition, human resources management and business partnership. Among her most significant professional achievements was the development of a robust talent acquisition team over the past few years at NetScout. Ms. Cody has assembled a competent group that operates with transparency, strong collaboration and strategic partnership with hiring managers. These qualities have positioned her team as a benchmark within the industry.
