As the chief executive officer of Reperio Health Inc., a health care service that provides American Heart Association-approved screening kits on behalf of its clients, he has worked diligently to address inefficiencies in the health and wellness industry and bring convenient solutions to the homes of those in need.
Mr. Rush first entered business ownership in 1997 with the establishment of Rushweb, a provider of hosted website solutions that specializes in website design, hosting, social media services, and search engine optimization. Rushweb ultimately came to serve as a platform for Eyehub, a web application that worked with optometrists, as well as ClubWebSource and hundreds of other small business websites. After more than 20 years of success, Rushweb was sold in 2018.
In addition to his work at Rushweb, Mr. Rush founded Sightbox Inc. in 2014. Sightbox is a vision care solutions service that sought to connect patients with eye doctors, schedule appointments, and deliver prescription contact lenses to subscribed clients. The company was acquired by Johnson & Johnson in 2017. Mr. Rush remained active with Sightbox as its chief executive officer until 2020.
As a commitment to his field, Mr. Rush sat on the board of the Oregon Entrepreneurs Network from 2019 until 2021. In this role, he served as a mentor on behalf of younger business professionals. Also driven by a lifelong love for music, he is also the founder of Lucky Lab Studios, a music production company through which he has produced and recorded his own songs since 1985. Under the umbrella of his record label, Mason Records, he has released a number of tracks for streaming on several digital platforms, such as Google Play, iTunes, Spotify and Pandora.
Mr. Rush attributes much of his success to the influence of his family, who imbued him with a sense of tenacity and persistence, and instilled in him a deep and abiding work ethic.
