Mr. Mueller embarked on his educational journey, earning a bachelor’s degree in industrial and organizational psychology in 1980 and a master’s degree in business administration and management in 1986, both from the University of Maryland. Following his academic pursuits, he commenced his career as a communications technician interpreter in French for the U.S. Navy from 1969 to 1972, also serving with the National Security Agency for three years. Transitioning to the United States Postal Service (USPS), he held various positions from 1978 to 2017, starting as a postal clerk and progressing through roles such as industrial psychologist, rate economist, and program performance specialist. After his tenure at USPS, he ventured into education, working as a substitute teacher for Anne Arundel County Public Schools from 2018 to 2023.

Presently, Mr. Mueller serves as the chief executive officer of Field of Treasure, operates Mueller’s Travel & Special Events, and acts as a brand representative for Anne Arundel Leadership. At Field of Treasure, he takes pride in organizing social and educational programs. Recognized for his exceptional service, he received the Distinguished Service Award from the Neighborhood Leadership Academy and the Above & Beyond Award from USPS. He also recently completed the Communication and Leadership Training from the Neighborhood Leadership Academy in 2023, showcasing his dedication and commitment to the field.

Throughout his career, Mr. Mueller achieved significant milestones, including his notable contribution to saving USPS’s automation program as an industrial psychologist. Mr. Mueller attributes his success to divine blessings, his father’s teachings on diligence, and his resilience. Looking ahead, he aims to establish a donation center while dedicating time to nurturing his grandson’s aspirations. As a mentor, he encourages aspiring professionals to embrace hard work, perseverance, and continuous learning.
