Prior to this position, he was active as president of commercial lines at CCIG from 2020 to 2021, spearheading market development initiatives and leading the company’s commercial lines division. Previously, he served in multiple roles at Distinguished Programs, including associate vice president and production underwriter, contributing significantly to the company’s growth and success from 2004 to 2017. He began his career as a commercial real estate broker at The Schultz Organization in 2001.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Parks pursued an education at Colorado Academy, earning his diploma in 1996. He then continued his academic efforts at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, earning his bachelor’s degree in communications with a minor in sociology in 2000. Finally, he concluded his studies at the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver, completing his Master of Business Administration in management and leadership in 2011.
In addition to his primary vocation, Mr. Parks has maintained his involvement with National Jewish Health and Sigma Chi International Fraternity, reflecting his commitment to community service and networking. In light of his impressive undertakings, he has accrued several accolades throughout his career, including The Chairman’s Award from Andy Potash, Chairman at Distinguished Programs, in 2012, and certificates of distinction from The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research.
