Prior to founding Talent Headquarters, Ms. Teague bolstered her professional skills through such roles as regional recruiting manager of the northwest region for Allied Universal, formerly known as AlliedBarton. While working as a district recruiter, administrator, and office manager for Farmers Insurance, she played a crucial part in helping the company meet its year goal in only six months. She received the DM Accelerator Award for her efforts. Before shifting to recruitment, Ms. Teague showcased her leadership skills as a general manager for Lil Cooperstown, a bar and grill. Her career began as general manager of The Dog House Bar and Grill in 2008, a position she held for more than five years. Ms. Teague’s experiences in restaurant management honed her hiring and training abilities, which would prove essential to her future career.

Ms. Teague’s academic background includes coursework in medical assisting at Anthem College-Portland in 2012. She has completed numerous certifications through LinkedIn, such as delivering a great virtual sales pitch, writing emails people want to read, the cybersecurity threat landscape and how to make strategic thinking a habit, among others. Ms. Teague was certified in CPR in 2011 and received licensing to handle food and sell alcohol in Oregon in 2008.

Ms. Teague has received numerous accolades to commemorate her accomplishments in the field. She was named #1 Recruiter of the Year by Steve Jones, chief executive officer of Allied Universal, in 2018. Mr.Jones also presented Ms. Teague with the Non-Billable Overtime Championship Belt in 2017 in recognition of her achievement of a substantial reduction in overtime for the company. She was honored as District Recruiter of the Quarter twice during her time with Allied Universal. Ms. Teague attributes her success to resilience, positivity, determination, and a passion for connecting people with career opportunities.

Ms. Teague has proven herself committed to contributing to the wider community. She volunteers with The American National Red Cross, the National Kidney Foundation, Feeding America, and R&R New Options Equine, a nonprofit that cares for neglected horses. Ms. Teague also attends events affiliated with Easterseals Oregon, which puts her in touch with individuals with disabilities. By connecting with people with disabilities directly, she is able to use her professional skillsto help them find suitable job opportunities and greater stability.

Outside of her career, Ms. Teague enjoys hiking, shopping, water sports, traveling, and spending time with her two daughters. Looking to the future, she hopes to turn Talent Headquarters’ website into a key destination for job listings. Ms. Teague intends to improve her recruitment efforts with an affiliate program while also engaging in mentorship with less experienced recruiters. She is also considering expanding Talent Headquarters into new areas, such as security and investigation, setting it up for even greater success and approaching her long-term ambition of making the company into a household name.
