Their offerings include training on essential workplace building blocks, internal resilience frameworks for teams and organizations, workplace diagnostic packages, and support for startups, entrepreneurs, and small businesses. They also provide specialized services for fostering a prosperous company culture, effective team leadership, and successful team meetings. Additionally, they offer monthly implementation support and guidance for efficient hiring practices. Prior to this, she was the founder and executive director of Thought Partnerships from 2019 to 2023, managing director of The Nexus Fund from 2017 to 2019, program officer at the Wellspring Philanthropic Fund from 2013 to 2017, director of the Atrocity Prevention Program with Human Rights First from 2012 to 2013, and interim deputy director of campaigns at Amnesty International in 2011.
Earlier roles include Ms. Hameed serving as a Congo campaign manager for the Enough Project at the Center for American Progress from 2010 to 2011, lead organizer at Oxfam America from 2008 to 2010, SGBV coordinator and 16 Days of Activism campaign manager with the Center for Women’s Global Leadership at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey from 2007 to 2008, campaign coordinator with Amnesty International from 2003 to 2007), and a research consultant with Save the Children UK & RAASTA from 2000 to 2003. Setting a foundation for these accomplishments, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science and economic development at Washington College, graduating with honors in 2001, followed by a Master of Arts in international development from American University, Washington, DC, in 2023. She went on to earn a professional certificate in international human rights law and practice from The London School of Economics and Political Science in 2005. She also stays involved in the community as a member of the steering committee of the Peace and Security Funders Group and sitting on the board of directors for both Invisible Children and Digital Action
Ms. Hameed attributes her success to her supportive parents, who valued education, and to her persistence and determination. She takes pride in helping organizations grow and thrive, finding reward in taking an idea, building a vision, creating a structure, and equipping leaders with the necessary tools and resources. In the coming years, she aims to integrate her flagship curriculum, “Thriving Workplaces,” into numerous companies and launch her “Good Stewards Program” to foster positive industry change. Her advice to aspiring professionals is to gain diverse experiences, step out of their comfort zones, and develop a strong sense of self and where and what they want to do in their career.
