With years of experience to his credit, Mr. Baptiste has excelled as the chief executive officer for the Central Valley Academy of Sports Science in Modesto, California since 2020. Established at the onset of the COVID-19 Pandemic to meet the growing demand for sports science expertise among accomplished coaches in the region, the Central Valley Academy of Sports Science is comprised of medical physicians, allied healthcare professionals and sports scientists dedicated to providing comprehensive education on the scientific principles of various athletic disciplines. Having founded the aforementioned academy with the goal of enhancing the comprehension of the scientific aspects of sports so that coaches may elevate their team’s respective performances, Mr. Baptiste devotes his time and resources to assisting athletes and private clients and aims to expand upon his services to aid with injury care and other industry-related endeavors.

Since 2012, Mr. Baptiste has been additionally active as the director of The Sport Science & Biomechanics Lab. Likewise, he served as a biomechanist with The Biomechanics Lab in Los Angeles, California between 2013 and 2015. Renowned for his expertise in podiatry, pedorthic science, movement dysfunction, and sports science, Mr. Baptiste has found further success as a sports therapist, certified podiatrist, certified ppedorthist and healthcare consultant in the United Kingdom.

To support his professional ambitions, Mr. Baptiste pursued an education at the University of Bedfordshire, from which he earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in sports and exercise in 1987. He continued his academic efforts with a Diploma in Podiatric Medicine at the University College London in 2006. Currently, Mr. Baptiste is completing a bachelor’s degree in psychology and sports at Grand Canyon University.

Beyond his primary responsibilities, Mr. Baptiste has participated in numerous roles outside of his immediate circles. A notable contributor to organizations dedicated to helping orphans around the globe, he has also committed his support to programming on the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS). Moreover, Mr. Baptiste has maintained his affiliation with the Pedorthic Footcare Association, the American College of Sports Medicine, the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and the Academy of Robotics and Prosthetics.

Mr. Baptiste has attributed his success to the unwavering support of his wife, who diligently works alongside him so that they may tackle potential obstacles together while prioritizing one another’s well-being. He was drawn to his present position by his desire to operate in the nonprofit space, as he wanted to provide a structure to support student athletes through the provision of sporting equipment. Furthermore, Mr. Baptiste was motivated by the opportunity to offer educational guidance to students struggling with sports-related injuries.

Beginning his career in sports science in the United Kingdom, Mr. Baptiste recalls the challenges of continuing his practice in the United States as a result of the different educational requirements between each country, which inspired him to seek his certification as a pedorthist, specializing in the biomechanics of the foot. Among the many accomplishments of his career, he is proud to have attended one of the top medical schools for podiatry in the United Kingdom, having been raised in a low-income area of Hackney in London. Looking toward the future, Mr. Baptiste hopes to continue nurturing top-quality athletes at Central Valley Academy of Sports Science, obtain his master’s degree in athletic training and doctorate in psychology, and support his wife and children in their ambitions to contribute positively to the world.
