James Wilson, DM, Principal at SLOFLT Group, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in youth development-focused non-profit organizations development.

With decades of experience, Dr. Wilson has thrived as principal of SLOFLT Group since 2010. He was the vice president of business development with Raytheon Company from 1979 until he retired in 2008. Before beginning his career, he served as a captain and naval aviator for the United States Navy for 27 years. In his time with the United States Navy, he was proud of his involvement in defense work and the delivery of products to the military. His experience as a naval aviator made it natural for him to transition to continuing working with weapons involved in defense work for the military. This experience is what led him to the Raytheon Company. In his time there, he helped expand its tactical missile business and safeguarded its position as a robust defense contracting enterprise.

Before he entered his profession, Dr. Wilson earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Marietta College in 1969. He then received a Master of Business Administration in Management from Golden Gate University in 1982. Continuing his education, he went on to receive a Doctor of Management in Organizational Leadership from the University of Phoenix in 2010. As a testament to his success, Dr. Wilson received a Silver Buffalo Award from the Boy Scouts of America and an Alumni Community Service Away from the University of Phoenix Alumni Association in 2013. In his spare time, he gives back to the community through his position on the National Executive Board of the Boys Scouts of America since 2006.  Within the Boy Scouts of America, he holds a membership on the executive board and has been an officer of the National Capital Area Council since 2006. He is also an executive board member of the Northeast Region since 2005. Looking toward the future, Dr. Wilson is dedicated to ensuring the continued vitality and success of the organizations he is currently involved with.
